…And the underbodice is now all finished. It is silk dupioni with hand-worked eyelet closures laced the spiral way. Bilament along the neckline in jet glass settings and 2mm freshwater pearls.

Here are the embroidered foresleeves, with jet glass ouches and the underskirt. Both are silk, embroidered in cotton. The underskirt features a motif inspired by embroidery on an extant 16th c. caul and and is beaded with 1mm and 2mm freshwater pearls.
