It’s been a long time since I posted to my blog – something seems always to get in the way. I hope to get back on track with this update. I’m still here, and I’m still sewing. But my 2020 sewing has largely been monotonous rectangles (not really super blog-worthy). I’ve lost count of the cloth masks I’ve sewn and given away to postal workers, delivery drivers, neighbors, friends, and relatives, but I’m reasonably certain it’s well over 500.

I’ve done a little bit of selfish sewing, also, stitching up a pair of Pandemic Pants, making a copy of a bag I love that had seen better days, and making a bunch of egg aprons (something I’ve had on my cutting table for 3+ years!). I’m so busy keeping my girls (of the human and chicken variety) out of trouble, experimenting in the kitchen, and staying on top of other banal day-to-day activities that I find time to document my projects on Insta, but don’t always manage to carve out enough time for a tutorial or project debrief.
