Spent the better part of the day tweaking the breeches pattern and assembling both the shirt and breeches. The stretch twill was way stretchier than I anticipated based on the swatch I ordered, so I ended up taking them in as I went. The silk poplin was a dream to stitch and having failed to find a suitably pliable lace at the fabric store, I ended up rummaging through my stash of vintage laces.

It’s a little early for superlatives, but I will throw out a gasp, a happy grin and a couple of geek-out glees!
