The undergarments for SailorLimaBean are cut and ready to sew. Here’s the mockup for the dress bodice. It was originally intended to be a gathered sleeve and waist, but instead of looking more simple than a tailored bodice, it looked really wrinkly and mussed up. I blame it on the fact that I’m using silk–I should have known better. Anyhow, the progress:
I think I may finally have all of the materials in one spot for Nautilus’s commission, so the first cuts in real fabric will likely be made in the next couple of weeks. And I’m still trying to figure out how I’m going to make buttons.
I am still on-schedule, but school is about to eat me alive, so I may have to put an even lower cap on my April/May Commissions.
How exciting! I am glad you have this site up…I have been stalking you now since I first talked to you on DoA.
Oh, good–you are checking my blog!
