I just recieved my newest doll–an Elfdoll Lydia (60cm, large bust, BJD). She’s terribly inspiring, and as soon as she has a face (she’s blank) and hair, she’ll make her debut, hopefully with a name.
It’s entirely likely that some of my other projects will be put on (or kept on) hold while I prep her for the Rainyverse contest. She’ll have the honor of representing Wales in this year’s dolly beauty pageant.
In other news, I’m determined to follow up on my Godey’s doll gowns. I enjoyed the last one so much, I think I’ll do a whole collection and call them Godey’s Ladies. Clever, no? I’ve picked April 1869, a green and white striped dinner dress, as my next project. And I think I may make two–one for my newest model and for the blond, articulated Alex that I got last month. The search for fabric will ensue any day now.
